Private Tour Anaga & Mar

A comprehensive excursion to the green heart of northern Tenerife, with cultural stops, panoramic views, and the wild beauty of the Atlantic Ocean.

Nature, culture and coast on an unforgettable route

From the colonial city of La Laguna to the laurel landscapes of Anaga, passing through pristine beaches and the spiritual Candelaria, this tour connects you with the most authentic essence of the island.

La Laguna and local flavors

We begin our journey along the highway toward San Cristóbal de La Laguna, the first capital of Tenerife and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999.

There, we'll stroll through the local farmers' market, where you'll discover fresh seasonal produce and the famous Canarian potatoes, in all their varieties.

Laurel forest and Anaga viewpoints

We enter the Anaga Biosphere Reserve, a natural gem in the northeast of the island. The tour continues through the Mercedes laurel forest, one of the oldest in Europe.

At Cruz del Carmen, we begin a pleasant walk along trails surrounded by lush vegetation, where you'll enjoy fresh air and 360-degree views. This area is a green paradise where it feels like springtime all year round.

Later, at a natural viewpoint overlooking Taganana, we'll stop to enjoy a picnic lunch outdoors, surrounded by nature.

Roque de las Bodegas and the northern coast

We descend toward Roque de las Bodegas, in the far north of Tenerife. This beach with strong waves and volcanic landscapes was historically a departure point for local wine, one of the island's star products.

Here we make a brief stop to contemplate the ocean and capture some photos of this very special spot.

Las Teresitas and Santa Cruz: between beach and city

We cross the Anaga Mountains again to reach Las Teresitas, Tenerife's first artificial beach, built with sand from the Sahara Desert. Here you can enjoy a stroll by the sea or relax on a terrace overlooking the Atlantic and the palm trees that line the coastline.

We continue through the capital city of Santa Cruz, notable for its enormous port, where large cruise ships and cargo ships dock. You'll be able to observe the island's maritime and urban life from a unique perspective.

Candelaria: faith, history and black lava

Our last stop is Candelaria, an important religious and cultural center. There, we visit the Basilica of the Black Virgin, patron saint of the Canary Islands, and stroll along the seafront, where statues of ancient Guanche menceyes are located.

Candelaria also offers a volcanic sand beach and a small shopping street, ideal for buying a souvenir before finishing the route.
